Uplands has been providing residential, nursing therapies and care for over 30 years. Our experience has shown us that a person’s living environment has a profound affect on their physical and emotional wellbeing. As such, we have created a home which combines state of the art facilities with the comforts of home, in an effort to provide the best possible environment for rehabilitiation and re-couperation.

Uplands can accommodate up to 17 people, in single rooms, each with a clean and modern en-suite wetroom. The home has various common living areas where residents can relax and socialise, taking part in the numerous and varied activities which take place every day. The home also has quiet areas, for when residents wish to have some alone time outside of their rooms, or perhaps entertain visitors, who are welcome anytime.

The main purpose of Uplands is rehabilitation and the home has been cleverly designed so that the therapy centre is quite literally at the heart of the home, visible from the dining area and some communal spaces. This helps to encourage a positive and enthusiastic therapeutic atmosphere.
